Pulmonary TB Calcific

I was diagnosed last 2005 that I have ptb (pulmonary tuberculosis) minimal but ngayon gumaling na. Last week, I decided to have an xray. The findings is I have a ptb calcific at my left upper lungs. What does this mean? Do I have to take a medicine? Eto ba'y nakakahawa? Pls help me kasi may 3 years old akong anak. Godbls.

Dear Lets,

Kapag gumaling na ang galos ng PTB, ito ay tumitigas at nag-iipon ng calcium kaya ang pagbasa sa x-ray ay "calcific" or "calcified". Pero pwedeng umulit ito dahil may mga strains ng TB na drug-resistant. Mabuti kung magpa-sputum test ka for AFB smear and culture parang sigurado.

Regarding your baby, nabakuna na ba siya kontra sa TB? Yung tinatawag na BCG vaccine? Proteksyon ito sa TB.
